the brief
a creative agency in london needed a website that matched the quality of what they do for clients.
jmd works with ambitious startups, helping them turn complex ideas into polished, market-ready products. graphic design, 3d modelling, branding strategy, web development. the kind of agency that takes on work other people find difficult. their site needed to communicate that instantly, to someone who lands on the page and immediately understands they're dealing with a team that takes craft seriously.
that's the brief i was handed, and that's the standard i held the work to.
what i built
a full agency site built with next.js and tailwind css. services laid out clearly, a portfolio section to showcase their work, team profiles, testimonials, and a contact flow that doesn't get in the way. every section was designed to move a potential client from curious to convinced.
the design language had to feel premium without being cold. agencies that work with startups need to feel approachable and credible at the same time. that balance was the main design challenge, and it informed every decision from the typography down to the spacing.
building across time zones
doing client work across time zones is a different discipline. communication has to be tighter, feedback loops are longer, and you have to make more decisions independently without the ability to quickly clarify something. it sharpens you in ways local work doesn't.
jmd is live, it represents their agency well, and it was built to the same standard i hold everything else i put my name on.
let's build something worth talking about
