build a tool that eliminates the hassle of manually updating developer portfolios.
the goal was to automatically pull repositories, projects, and stats directly from github and present them in a sleek portfolio layout.
approach
integrated github’s public api with nextjs for dynamic data fetching. implemented caching for speed and built an elegant responsive ui using tailwind css.
tested with multiple accounts to ensure accurate repo data and consistent rendering of project cards.
